Celebrating!

We are celebrating a big milestone for our adoption tonight; we finished our home study today!!! This is a huge part of the process for our dossier. We are so excited about having this step completed. Even our social worker said today, "are you starting to feel the baby kick? Cause your officially pregnant with your adoption now!" We still need clearances to come back, and have to finish online parenting classes before our social worker can write the final home study, but the time-intensive part is over.

We are so thankful for this moment in which we celebrate a new phase of this journey. We look forward to many more celebrations in the weeks and months to come, but right now we are relishing in this one! To make it official we bought our first baby items today. Since we don't know the gender or specific age of the baby, it's hard to buy clothes. But did that stop us? I don't think so! We picked out two darling outfits; one for a Walser boy and one for a Walser girl :) SO MUCH FUN!!!

We are again amazed at God's provision in this adoption and how He is orchestrating the completion of it for His purposes...
